JUST IN: Bayelsa Assembly elects Hon. Tonye their new Speaker

Bayelsa State House of Assembly has elected Tonye Emmanuel Esina as the Speaker of the seventh Assembly, which was inaugurated some minutes ago. 

The election of other principal officers is still ongoing, as at the time of filing this report.
