HON.BELLO BINA CONGRATULATES NIGERIANS ON 2017 DEMOCRACY DAY.

The Chairman of Brass LGA, Hon. Bello Bina has Congratulated Nigerians in general and the hospitable people of Brass LGA in particular on this year’s Democracy day.
The Chairman stated that the gains of Democracy as a system of Government can not be over-emphasized. Noting that the cases where there were no freedom of speech and association that was prevalent during the Military era is now a thing of the past.
The Chairman, Hon. Bello Bina also posited that Democracy has also brought sanity in governance as those in power are now operating with transparency and accountability as the masses now have the right to ask questions.
The Chairman of Brass LGA however called for more strengthened institutions at all levels of Government as that will be the only way to entrench and sustain Nigeria’s Democracy.
Bello Bina, advised those who are thinking of truncating Nigeria’s Democracy through a Coup or any other means to exert there energies to more meaningful ventures as Nigeria’s Democracy has grown beyond being truncated, with these years of transitions from one government to the other.
He(Bello Bina) however urged the press, the civil societies and all well meaning Nigerians to always stand in defence of Nigeria’s nascent democracy.
