Gunmen Kidnap APC Chairman, demands N10 million ransom

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gamji ward of Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Sani Dangwaggo Bakuru.

The gunmen reportedly stormed his residence at Gamji community, in Bakura, during a downpour on Tuesday night, October 6, around 11:00 p.m and whisked him away to an unknown destination.

Shehu Isa, state publicity secretary for APC in Zamfara, Shehu Isa, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday morning, said the kidnappers had contacted the relatives of the captive, demanding N10 million ransom.
