ADVERT RATE

As the year 2019 beckons, it is a known fact that politicians are gearing up for election and most especially our political gladiators have begun to dubiously scheme as usual in a bid to bulldoze their way to power at the expense of the downtrodden whom they have repeatedly failed.
This sad scenario brings to mind the exact words of Christian Nestell Bovee where he stated that: “Political aspirants make too much of people before election and if successful, too much of themselves after it. They use the people when they want to rise, as we treat a spirited horse when we want to mount him, for a time we pat the animal upon the neck, and speak to him softly; but once in the saddle, then come the whip and spur”.
As the four-year vicious circle of elections continue, it is no longer news that Abians have since lost faith in PDP–led state government and APC–lead federal government. We have been deprived of every good taste of governance; we are faced with untold economic hardship, heightened insecure atmosphere, corruption, poor infrastructural development, poor waste management, continuous decay of our educational system, poor implementation of budget et cetera.
Mark Goyder, Director of Tomorrow Company in the United Kingdom was right when he said: “Governance and leadership are the Yin and the Yang of successful organization. If you have leadership without governance you risk tyranny, fraud and personal fiefdoms. If you have governance without leadership you risk atrophy, bureaucracy and indifference”.
As time tickles by, all sons and daughters of Abia State must fuse their soul and spirit with the mindset of Abraham Lincoln who said, “I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live by the light that I have. I must stand with anybody that stands right and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong”.
Umu Abia!!! The time to part ways with bad governance is now! For how long shall we continue to tolerate and endure godfatherism and visionless leaders in God’s own state? For how long shall we allow the worst to represent the best in a state that is endowed with resourceful individuals? Enough is enough!
Ndi Abia need a pragmatic leader with fresh ideas and innovative concepts to transform our land to a place of glory. Who then becomes the beckon of hope to our people?
Only a man of known performance, intelligence and integrity like Dr. Alex Otti can break the chains of captivity, suffering and backwardness. He is a proven technocrat that is acknowledged worldwide and represents the interest of the youths. He sees Abia state as a centre of modern commerce and industry. He is a major contributor to the national economic management field and understands the theory and practice of developmental economics. In truth, Alex Otti remains the only way out! The true chain-breaker.
My fellow Abians, the burden of breaking the chains of poor leadership lies on our shoulders. To Abians in Diaspora, I urge you to come back home! To those that have no PVC yet, go and get yours!
The fate of our dear state lies in our hand. As my father will always say “A war that is forewarned ought not to consume the wise”. We are now wiser and our new Abia is possible.
Think New Abia! Think Alex Otti

Long Live Alex Otti Ambassadors! Long Live God’s own State!!
