…Says INEC was bias to cancel votes from Koluama 1 already collated by the Presiding officers
A renowned Pro- political group under the auspices of The New Generation leaders have pledged total commitment to the All progressives Congress (APC) and it’s candidate. In a statement made public and signed by Apostle Bodmas Kemepadei, National Coordinator, applauded teeming supoorters for massively standing by Chief Timipre Sylva and Great Joshua Maclver.
The group also commended 14 other youth groups in the state and it’s leaders for their collaborative efforts and unwavering support even at the last minute to the election.
” Let me singlehandedly hail all structures and members of the New Generation Leaders for commitment and support base across the state and standing tall for the APC despite not being funded by the party nor it’s candidate, the results of my 24 constituency representatives and 10 state working committee is a step in the right direction”.
The group categorically stated that all it’s activities from campaigns to the election were self sponsored through it’s Leader, Apostle Bodmas Prince Kemepadei.
” Worthy to be noted is that no member of the group nor it’s leadership were appointed as either unit agents, unit coordinator or given any form of mobilization by the party or it’s candidate”.
Bodmas also dismissed claims in some quarters that he or the group made money through the electioneering process, he stated that at no point did he receive any form of financial support for electioneering purposes from either the party, it’s Guber candidate and the deputy Guber candidate even when the activities of the group were in public fora, noting that their activities were selfless.
Bodmas decries that the Election was made a market ground for auction of voters, security apparatus and sadly the party that had so much money ( PDP) was protected by the same security agencies meant to protect all and subsequently declared by INEC as winner.
Bodmas further commended all members of the New Generation youths of Koluama 1 especially from his family compound who stood by him to ensure the right thing was done, he added that the terrain had been a strong hold of the PDP yet for the first time they don’t have results to show because of the resistance and stiff opposition put up by himself and other dedicated followers.
Furthermore, Bodmas stated that they were able to hold still in the face of a porous security, betrayal from some supposed unit agents and unit coordinators, even at that, votes were dragged out that were later rejected by INEC, he accused the INEC of conniving with the PDP to cancel the entire Koluama 1, a matter he says will be determined in court.
Apostle Bodmas further tasked all members of the group to stay strong and keep faith as the battle was far from being over.
