The National Leader of APC and former Lagos state governor, Alhaji Bola Tinubu has replaced Governor Akinwumi Ambode as the party’s Governorship candidate for the 2019 general election.
Tinubu according to Hope For Nigeria favours another Epe born politician, an ally and former Lagos state Speaker, Ikuforiji to fly the Party’s flag in the governorship election. The Party leadership are pleading with Tinubu to reconsider his decision and allow Ambode to complete his second term.
The embattled Governor intimated the aides of his intention to move to PDP or ADC and contest the election under the new option.
