Former Chief Judge of Bayelsa State, Justice Kate Abiri is Dead

Justice Kate Abiri, a former Chief Judge of Bayelsa State, is dead. She died in the early hours of Thursday, August 3.

Abiri retired from her role as Chief Judge of Bayelsa State following her retirement on January 13, 2023.

She holds the record as the longest serving Chief Judge in Bayelsa State, occupying the role from 2008 to 2023.

Abiri hails from Aleibiri in Ekeremor Local Government Area.
