Chief Reuben C. Wilson has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He made this known in a brief meeting held in his office, after returning from Abuja today, to his supporters, members of his erstwhile Campaign Steering Committee and Ward Coordinators of the Pastor Reuben Clifford Wilson Foundation.
The People’s General as he is popularly known gave reasons for leaving the PDP and moving into the APC. According to his address to those present in the meeting,he said, he is a God fearing man and therefore will always fight for a just cause that will not only benefit himself and his family but the general public. He told the crowd that his defection to the APC shouldn’t be seen as a declaration of enmity with his former Party, PDP. He enjoined his supporters to treat all Bayelsans and the Ijaws as one big family and not allow their new political party affiliation to negatively affect their relationships with others who are not in their new political family.
He promised to keep his teeming supporters and the general public properly informed of his activities and programmes.
It’s now official that Chief Reuben C. Wilson,our Chairman and Principal is now a stalwart of the All Progressives congress (APC).
