Ex-IPAC Chairman accuses Tinubu, Fashola of plot to remove SGoF

Pioneer Chairman of the Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC), Hon. Sunday Frank-Oputu yesterday accused the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC),  Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Works, Housing and Power, Babatunde Fashola of alleged plot to remove the Surveyor General of the Federation (SGoF}, Surveyor Ebisinte Awudu and replace him with Surveyor Samuel Taiwo.

According to Hon. Sunday Frank -Oputu, the alleged plot being put together by Tinubu and Fashola is targeted at removing the incumbent SGoF over fictitious charges of corruption and replace him with a South-Westerner who is currently the Director in Charge of International Boundary Survey. 

Hon. Sunday Frank-Oputu, who was also the one time Chairman of the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties, in a statement issued yesterday in yenagoa, warned the duo of Senator Bola Tinubu and Minister Babatunde Fashola,to desist from anti-South South actions and halt the mischievious plan against the people. 

According to Frank-Oputu,” first, we want to ask why the Nigerian State have been unfair to the people of the south-south and Bayelsa state. Our people at the highest rank in the Federal Civil Service and the Military are being hunted unjustly. They don’t want them to be at the pinackle of their career inspire of their meritorious service. “

“The only person that got to the pinackle of his career was General Owei Azazi. We all know what happened after that. The Nigerian State knows what happened and we can not be hood winked. We later had the CJN, they did all they could to cut short the tenure with allegations of alleged corrupt practices and removed him. “

“The Norther power bloc blamed the removal of the former CJN on the action of the Former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan over the removal of Justice Salami. It was never the fault of former President Jonathan. It is unacceptable and we will never accept the removal of the CJN. “

“Today, we have an Ijaw man, who is a Surveyor-General of the Federation. They have started playing to remove him over trump up charges. Tinubu and Fashola are playing to remove him and replace him with their Cronie. It is shocking to know that some Bayelsa indigenes are supporting the plot. “

Hon. Frank-Oputu however called on President Muhammad Buhari to intervene and order a stop to the alleged evil plot, “PMB should halt the evil moves by Tinubu and Fashola. The Surveyor-General is a man of impeccable character and his performance in Bayelsa and at the national level is enormous. It is evident in the successes achieved under the President Buhari administration. “
