The National President N’Delta Creeks Movement and Mouth Of Ijaw Nation Comr. Timipre Ndoni as call on the Bayelsa Covid-19 Task Force to address the Keke Union in the State to further price hike.
He said the Keke drivers are taking advantage of the Lockdown order by Gov. Diri to increase price of transport fares.
According to Comr. Ndoni; “Bayelsa State metropolis, Keke drivers used an advantages of the total lockdown order by Gov. Senator Douye Diri, to increase Azikoro Town to Swali Market is #300 and From Azikoro Town to Berger junction is #100”
“I therefore call the Covid-19 Task Force Agency to work on them and address the Keke union proper”.
“We are agitating in every social media platforms to call on FG and State government to dismissed the one week additional lockdown order to be call off while Keke Riders are busy increasing transport fairs in the state, is barbaric and uncalled-for. The state Covid-19 Task Force Agency should call them in order” he Stated.
