Bayelsa youths these days dont want to work – Bayelsa Commissioner for Works, Tiebowei

The Bayelsa State Commissioner for Works and infrastructure, Moses Teibowei has come out to say that Bayelsa youths dont like to work

He said whenever he goes to inspect project in the state, he only sees Igbos, Hausas, Akwa ibom etc doing menial jobs to help themselves

He said this when he was interviewed by journalist Onyimiebi Siasia in a programme called “Spotlight” organized by Glory FM

“As a Commissioner I see alot. Go to our project sites you see igbos, Hausas, Akwa ibom etc doing menial jobs to help themselves but you wont see Bayelsans

“If you go to our roads and our streets you will not see our people driving keke and taxis, they are not learning mechanic work

“In the building sectors you will not see our people doing carpentry, tiling and POP work

“What they only want to do is to hail you, they will say Commissioner Iweh, commissioner iweh, and they will get money

“This is not helping, we need to rearrange ourselves, get focus and train ourselves in various skills”
