The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the forthcoming Bayelsa West Senatorial Election, RT. Hon. Peremobowei Ebebi, has expressed optimism to win the October 31st, 2020, poll.
Ebebi disclosed this on arrival from Abuja to the state capital on Wednesday while speaking to news men on his chances at the poll.
The former two-time Assembly Speaker lambasted Dickson for pushing a non existing zoning agenda to deceive the people for votes while he was the one that destroyed zoning in the West District by ceding the deputy governor slot still to Sagbama after he served two terms of eight years.
While sueing for peaceful Poll, Ebebi assured that with a free, fair election, he will defeat Dickson due to the failed policies in his tenure.
In his words: “Look at the airport he said he built it is outdated and substandard and in less than ten years, it shall be obsolete. The location is also wrong. The roads he said he built are not finished and substandard. Dickson left the state in ruins and debts and the people of Bayelsa West shall retire him from politics with their votes.” He stated.
Ebebi thereafter led his entourage on a tour to visit stakeholders to curry their votes in the coming Senatorial Poll billed to hold on October 31st, 2020.
Women celebrated Ebebi’s grand entrance at his residence in Yenagoa with songs of joy and solidarity saying “Give Us What us our due. Orua people give us what is our due. It’s our turn for senate. Ebebi is the man for the job. Dickson should rest and let others rule.”. In their separate solidarity remarks Deputy Minority Whip of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha and the APC Chairman, Mitin, expressed confidence in the readiness of the party for the elections as they reiterated that Dickson’s evil antecedents shall stand against him at the poll.
