Not satisfied with Tuesday’s judgement of the court of appeal which dismissed his case against the nomination of Douye Diri, currently the governor of Bayelsa State, as the candidate of the PDP for the last gubernatorial election in the state, Chief Timi Alaibe is heading for the apex court.

Tuesday’s judgement, expectedly, got to Alaibe as a shocker and in line with his earlier resolve, his team of lawyers are already getting set to test the correctness of the high and appeal court judgements which were against him.

A very close ally of the former managing director of the NDDC who confided in TNN said after the initial shock, Alaibe was even stronger than the people who were calling to strengthen him immediately after the news was made public.

It was learnt on Wednesday that the processes for the filing of the appeal at the Supreme Court had begun, even as some of his supporters express the confidence that the apex court would do justice to the matter.

Alaibe himself has been evasive to press interviews since the matter begun. He has also not been willing to make comments on the issue, while the legal battle lasts.
