BAYELSA GUBER: Mrs Alayingi Sylva Promises A Better Welfare Package for disengaged And Serving Civil Servants

Former First Lady of Bayelsa State and wife of the APC Governorship candidate in the State, Her Excellency Mrs. Alayingi Sylva has promised the state civil servants a better welfare package when elected into office come November 11th, 2023.

Mrs. Alayingi Sylva made this promise when she played host to some disengaged and serving civil servants in the in Bayelsa State yesterday 3rd August 2023.

The disengaged and serving civil servants led by one Mr Lucky Dubrowa while stating their position said they faired better under the leadership of Chief Timipre Sylva as governor of the state.

Mr Lucky stated that under the Sylva’s administration, there was prompt payment of civil servant’s salaries, payment of bursary to students in higher institution that helped carried some burdens off the parents, sponsoring of students abroad, amongst other things.

Similarly, Amgbare Bodisere Edith who spoke on behalf of the women folk pleaded with Her Excellency to consider bringing back to service all those that were unjustly disengaged and if possible, pay them their entitlements thereafter.

Her Excellency was flanked by Mrs. Sarah MacIver , wife of Great Joshua MacIver , the running mate to Chief Sylva and Honourable Cynthia Princwill, the APC South-South Women Leader.
