Bayelsa Guber: Immediate past Ogbia LGA Chairman, other Gov. Diri appointees dumps PDP, join forces with APC ahead Nov. Polls

The All Progressive Congress in Bayelsa state has continued to expand its spheres of influence as the party continues to receive influx of decampees daily.

Latest is the defection of the immediate past Local Government Chairman of Ogbia LGA, Hon. Ebi Marvins Turner, who pins his tent with the APC to ensure victory at the polls come November 11, 2023.

Hon. Turner, who also contested for the House of Representatives in the just concluded National Assembly election in Ogbia federal constituency in the platform of PDP, defected to the APC with his mammoth crowd of followers.

Similarly, Mrs. Hilda George, who was the Director Center for Women Development, Bayelsa State, has also relieved her appointment from the PDP to follow the Opuabadi, Chief Timipre Sylva, of the APC.

Mrs. Hilda, who hails from the same LGA with the incumbent governor, Sen. Douye Diri, and held an appointment during Senator Dickson Seriake’s PDP Government, tendered her resignation letter in her ward in Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA, the PDP governor’s LGA, and joined the APC.

In a new development, a Grassroot Mobilizer, Comr. Jeremiah Erepadei, has also rejected his recent appointment as SSA to the governor on Special Duties, and has declared his undiluted support for the APC in the state polls.
