A prominent female activist in Bayelsa State, Comrade Unity Etoto has emerged the elected State Chairperson of a coalition of 400 civil society organizations known as the Transition Monitoring Group (TMG).
Comrade Etoto was elected in Yenagoa during the State chapter Coordinating Election/Inauguration under the supervision of the South-South Zonal Coordinator, Chief Nengi James and media observers,.
Comrade Etoto is the Coordinator of the clean water advocacy group known as Man and Water.
Also elected at the just concludes poll were Vice Chairpersons from Bayelsa West and Bayelsa Central, Comrade Princess Egbe and Comrade Ruth Ditordakumo respectively.
Comrade Taritin Boco of the Nembe City Development Foundation was elected the TMG Vice Chairman for Bayelsa East Senatorial District.
The election was supervised by the TMG Zonal Secetary and Rivers State Chairman, Amb. Sylvester Okoduwa, the Zonal South-South Coordinator
