Bayelsa APC Guber: Joshua Maciver Congratulates Sylva in Party Primaries, Assures Victory in November Polls

Front line aspirant of the just concluded Bayelsa governorship race under the platform of the APC, Great Joshua Maciver has congratulated the former Minister of Petroleum (state), H.E. (Chief) Timipre Sylva, on his emergence as the APC Flag-bearer in the Bayelsa governorship polls slated for November 11.

Great Maciver, who emerged second in the contest, speaking immediately after the announcement of the results, expressed satisfaction in the process, saying that he will queue behind the winner to ensure victory in the general elections.

The leader of the Izon-Tukpa Movement who is also marking his 44th birthday today, assured supporters that the All Progressive Congress, APC, will win the general elections.

“The Honourable former Minister, Worked very well. Let me assure you today that we’ll take the state November 2023.”

Further speaking, Maciver noted that it is a known fact that none can match the former Minister in the state as far as APC is concerned.

Chief Timipre Marlin Sylva pulled 52,061 votes to emerge the winner and Flag-bearer. Followed by Great Joshua MacIver who came second with 2,078 Votes.

Chief David Lyon pulled 1582 to emerge third, while Prof. Ongoebi Etebu 1277 to take fourth place.

Mrs Ikisima Ogbomade and Festus Daumiebi took fifth and sixth positions with 584 and 557 votes respectively.
