A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, Pastor Reuben Wilson has said the party is poised to take over power come 2023, declaring that the APC in the State is more united and organised to win the general elections in the state.
Pastor Reuben Wilson, who made this known during the Inauguration of a group in Yenagoa dubbed the Pastor Rueben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA), assured the party teeming supporters who converged on the group’s secretariat that the party is more than ready to take over the reins of power as he charged members to take the APC gospel of good governance and accountability to all nooks and crannies of Bayelsa state.
Reuben Wilson, who is from Koluama community in Southern Ijaw area of the State, pointed out that the rumored division within the party is over and the APC is back and ready,” Go to all councils, wards, senatorial districts and all communities to Mobilise support for the party so as to repeat the feat of 2020 where the party won the state convincingly at the polls,”

He also expressed confidence in the calibre of persons selected for the task of propagating the new gospel of unity within the party and affirmed that the party is more than united to meet the request if Bayelsans yearning for good governance and transparent leadership in the state.
Also speaking, the Director General of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, Dr. Solomon David, assured that he will work with his team to ensure that the feat is achieved as they shall mobilise more electorates to take the party to victory at the forthcoming polls across board.
“I have done it before as a grassroots Mobiliser and leader of various groups. We are not going to disappoint as we shall carry everyone along to show the people what the party can do better than what is being done now. Be rest assured, my leader, Pastor Reuben, that you have chosen men and women of timber and caliber to achieve this task on behalf of you and the party. We shall win once again.”
The PRIFGLA State Executive was inaugurated as well as the Local Government, Senatorial and Constituency coordinators and also the State Advisory and Elders Committees were also Inaugurated with same charge of galvanising supper for the APC in Bayelsa State.
