Tombia Community in Ekpetiama Clan of Yenagoa Local Government Area, played host to the Bayelsa literati as writers from all walks of life converged on the pristine riverine plain to sip from their fountain of literary knowledge.

The chief host of the day, who doubles as a patron of ANA Bayelsa, Chief Christian Otobotekere, expressed his delight to see writers come to his abode to celebrate the season with him.
The nonagenarian poet challenged younger writers to be resilient and patient as writing might not be as lucrative as other professions which bring in instant returns on investments.

He lauded the tenacity of members to keep the literary flame burning in the state even in the midst of a global pandemic that has changed the livelihood and lifestyle of many.
