Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Friday said Oyo State and Nigeria by extension would miss the intellectual capacity of the late Alaafin Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.
The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo on Friday stated that the intellectual capacity of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi would be missed by Oyo State and Nigeria.
Osinbajo during his condolence visit to the Oyo Mesi, the state government and the family of Oba Adeyemi, described the late monarch as a knowledgeable man.

He further stated that the late Yoruba monarch expresses his opinion brilliantly on issues in the country despite not being a professor.
Recall that the Oba Adeyemi died in Ekiti State last week Friday and was buried in Oyo State on Saturday night.
According to Osinbajo, the late monarch had a deep understanding of many issues including international issues.
Osinbajo noted that the late Alaafin of Oyo before joining his ancestors wrote so many papers.

The Vice President added that Oba Adeyemi would be missed by people who have had contact with him.
Osinbajo took the opportunity to express the condolence of President Muhammadu Buhari to the state government and the people of Oyo State.
