In anticipation for the 2023 Federation Cup, otherwise known as AITEO Cup, Rich-Destiny FC and Crusaders FC, all in Bayelsa state, had a warm-up match on Sunday 12th March 2023.

The friendly match took place at the community Secondary School Field, Biogbolo Yenagoa, the state capital.

10 minutes into the first half witnessed pressure from Crusaders FC who played on black jersey.± the pressure eased as both sides were comfortable on the ball with excellent control and great passes.
However, in the second half, pressure on both sides heightened, which finally led to a goal-less draw at the end of the game.

The Rich Destiny FC withstood a number of adversities with so many saves by the goal keeper on the line .

Coaches of the two teams in an interview with Naijalive shortly after the march, expressed optimism that their clubs will be more prepared before the games start in the state.
They also appreciated the organizers of the tournament.

Players from both team In their separate remarks, also appreciated the organisers of the game and expressed their readiness for the 2023 Federation tournament.

Coach Andrew of Rich Destiny FC further admitted that, Though a warm up, but it was never an easy encounter, He counted the giant strides of the Rich Destiny FC. and further call on government, nongovernmental organizations and spirited individuals for sponsorship, so as to pull more talents out of the streets.

Rich Destiny football Club which is basically a marketing team was formed by Richard MCiver for the soul purpose of reducing societal ill vices This is done by sorting out talented youths from streets in all nooks and crannies of Bayelsa state.
