Abuja Federal High court issued Fresh Order to IGP to produce Vijah Opuama unfailingly by Monday …Threaten to commit IGP to contempt of Court

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) as disobey a Federal High Court order. He failed to produce Vijah Opuama the Governorship candidate of Liberation Movement for Bayelsa State in Court despite the initial order to produce him today.

The Federal High Court per may commit the IGP to contempt of Court if he fails to produce Vijah Opuama on Monday being the last chance given to the IGP.

Vijah Opuama was arrested on 15th August 2020 at the venue of Bayelsa State Governorship Tribunal sitting in Abuja. He has been in detention since then upon complaint by Chief of Staff to Bayelsa State Governor. It is believe that the Governor of Bayelsa State is instigating the detention of Vijah because the Tribunal has nullified his election.
