TRIBUTE TO AN EXTRATERRESTRIAL POLITICIAN, CHIEF DSP ALAMIEYESEIGHA OF BLESSED MEMORY

The Foundation For Ijaw Youth Empowerment, (FIYE) has stated that ALAMCO Deserve To Be Immortalized With Formation Of An Organization/Movement, “ALAMCOISM”– In order to Preserve his steadfast characteristics and virtues of resilience, doggedness and diligence in defending Ijaw Nation while on earth.

It is Five (5) years now, when the Ijawnation lost a conglomerate of icons, a symbol of her dignity, strength and faithfulness, her First Governor General, a unifying force amongst the Ijaw Kingdoms, as Niger Delta say goodbye to a resolute, firm, upright and illustrious son of the soil.

Niger Delta and Ijawnation in particular was dealt a huge blow with the departure of Chief Diepriye Solomon Peter Alamieyeseigha on October 10, 2015. ALAMCO’S passing-on has indeed created a large vacuum that won’t be filled so easily in our ethnicity.

The First Governor General, throughout his sojourn on the surface of earth have Ijawnation and Niger Delta at Heart. The magnitude and degree of Love he possessed for his region and ethnic Nationality are second to none, even as a politician in a typical Nigerian setting. He would sacrifice almost everything to see the Ijaws protected either they reside within or beyond the shores of Niger Delta region.

ALAMCO is someone who got the vigour and passion to defend Ijawnation, whenever the need arise. He was unequivocally an extraterrestrial politician void of fear or naivety.

Though he faced undeserved persecution from principalities and the powers that be, who felt he was a threat to their dubious and satanic political ambitions during his political journey, yet his legendary remain intact and could not be tarnished in the encyclopedia of Ijawnation.

However, I want to use this medium to call on our elites, stakeholders and all patriotic sons and daughters of Ijawnation to establish an Organization/Movement that should be codenamed “ALAMCOISM” with the aim and objective to preserve and represent his Legacy, which should be a sustainable narrative, whereby his practical virtues, ideals and ideologies are upheld and demonstrated in perpetuity.

ALAMCO DESERVE TO BE IMMORTALIZED FOR ALL HE HAS DONE FOR IJAWNATION THROUGHOUT HIS STAY ON MOTHER EARTH.
