HON. BELLO BINA CONGRATULATES GOV. DICKSON ON HIS VICTORY AT THE ELECTION PETITIONS TRIBUNAL
The Chairman of Brass Local Government Council, Hon. Bello Bina, has congratulated the Governor of Bayelsa State, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson, following his victory at the Bayelsa State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja on Tuesday.
In a statement signed on behalf of the government and good people of Brass Local Government, Hon. Bello Bina described the victory as “well deserved for Gov. Dickson, the Restoration Team and the entire people of Bayelsa State.”
The Chairman while commending the judiciary for upholding the sanctity of the people’s mandate, thanked Bayelsans for their support for the PDP and the Restoration Government of Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson.
“On behalf of the good people of Brass local Government Area, I congratulate you on your well-deserved collective victory at the Bayelsa State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal.
“Your victory at the tribunal is well-deserved because you campaigned; you moved from community to community selling the programmes under the Restoration Agenda to the people, while the opposition were rellying on the federal might to deliver the election for them. To God be the glory, you won decisively in seven out of eight local government areas in the state. Your Victory is a clear testimony to our maturing democracy,” the statement said.
The Chairman therefore advised Chief Timipre Sylva and the opposition APC in the state to accept defeat in the spirit of true sportsmanship and join hands with the Dickson Administration to build Bayelsa State and make it the true Glory of All Lands.
