The Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Akwa Ibom has dismissed the insinuations making the rounds in the State that, incarceration of their Governorship candidate, Senator Bassey Albert has diminished the party.

But the party’s House of Representatives candidate for Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency, Arc. Nsikan Udoh dismissed such rumours saying that, it is an attempt to misinform the people.

Udoh, said in a chat with journalists in Uyo on Sunday that, the party still remains intact, united and more stronger.

He described the rumour as reckless strategy by intimidated politicians to misinform the public and reduce the massive support for the YPP.

According to him, ” you can see for yourself that, YPP has received more sympathy than ever.
