2023: Lyon Submit APC Bayelsa Guber Nomination Form …Seeks support From Party Leaders

As the primaries for Bayelsa State gubernatorial election 2023 approaches, a foremost aspirant and winner of the 2019 Bayelsa Governorship elections that was unjustly disqualified by the Supreme Court, Chief David Lyon has submitted his Intent/Nomination Form at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, the nations capital today, Tuesday, 21th of February, 2023.

NAIJA LIVE TV reported that on the 16th of February, 2023, Chief David Lyon threw his Hart in the ring for the Bayelsa guber when he picked the Intent/Nomination Form at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.

Lyon, in his statement, expressed his profound gratitude to Bayelsans for the honor done him, by massively voting for him in the 2019 governorship election.

He used the opportunity to seek the conscience of Party Leaders at the national and state levels to grant him the right of first refusal in the forthcoming party primaries, giving the fact that he is still the winning card that can coast the party to victory again.

Lyon who is the South South Deputy Director for the Contact/Mobilization Committee Tinubu/Shettima PCC, also appealed to Bayelsans to cast their votes for Tinubu/Shettima and all other candidates of APC across Bayelsa State. “Only APC can bring the long anticipated development, progress and prosperity to Bayelsa State” Lyon noted.
