Brief biography of Moses Oruaze Dickson:
Moses Oruaze Dickson a Lawyer by training, a serial entrepreneur, and philanthropist.
He is the founder of Modickson Consortium, and also the Chairman, Solalina Investment Group- a proprietary investment company with interest in oil and gas, commercial law, construction, agriculture, transportation and advertising.
Moses is known for his significant contribution to entrepreneurship development in the country. In 2017, the Solalina Investment Group partnered with the Canterbury Christ Church University UK on a £4000 funded research project on International investment agreements and economic development in Africa and improving trade within the continent.
He served as the senior special adviser on special duties to the Governor of Bayelsa state and in 2012 founded the GoldCoast Developmental Foundation, which is committed to enhancing the livelihood and capacity of young people through impact investment as well as driving and supporting policies that promote youth development. As the corporate social responsibility channel of all companies under the Modickson Consortium, the foundation has earned awards for its empowerment projects, jointly by the Red Cross, Bayelsa State Government, and The Nigerian Air Force.
Moses is a graduate of Law at the Niger Delta University and has an LLM(Distinction) in International commercial law; the University of Bedfordshire in the UK. He also has acquired certifications from Harvard Division of Continuing Education and London School of Economics And Political Science and is currently studying for his Ph.D. in the UK
