Yesterday, I was invited to Accra, Ghana by my alter-ago, Timi Frank for a meeting with Ghanaian’s immediate past President, John Dramani Mahama.
Timi and I were to meet Mahama in his residence but he volunteered to join us for dinner at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast.
What manner of a man is Mahama! For me, besides the fruitful discussion, Mahama’s choice to meet us at our hotel is the highest demonstration of humility, which is a lesson for aspiring leaders.
No wonder Ghana experienced tremendous transformation under his presidency. I am really humbled by the act of this noble African leader. Given the opportunity to serve, God give me the spirit of humility and wisdom as you have given to Mahama.
