“We spent N1,044,000 million to feed 232 COVID-19 patients everyday” – Bauchi Gov’t declares

….N4,500 on feeding each Covid-19 victims

Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency has said that it spends a cumulative of N4,500 to feed COVID-19 victims each day in the state in order to stop agitations.

Bauchi State has up until now 232 verified instances of COVID-19; 164 had actually been released, 5 fatalities and also 63 active situations.

Dr Rilwanu Mohammed, Exec Chairman of the agency, made the disclosure while speaking with the Information Agency of Nigeria on Sunday.

He stated, “It was the state governor that instructed us that we need to put N1,500 per solitary meal in a day.

That is, N1,500 meal throughout breakfast, the same quantity for lunch along with dinner because he does not want any person alone to whine or suffer so that we will not have any kind of trouble like in a few other states.

This brings the complete amount of money on dish per day to N4,500 on a solitary patient.”
