Tribunal Affirms Dapo Abiodun As Winner Of Ogun Guber Poll

The Ogun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal led by Justice Yusuf Halilu has affirmed Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress, APC as winner of the March 2019 gubernatorial poll. In its ruling, Saturday, 14th September on the preliminary objections  struck out Hon. Adekunle Akinlade (APM) petition seeking disqualification of Dapo Abiodun (APC) on grounds of submitting false academic qualifications.

The Tribunal ruled that the issue of information about academic qualification in Abiodun sworn affidavit had been laid to rest by the Appeal Court which is a superior court to the Tribunal.
