Tompolo, Otuaro, others receives NBA delegation, collaborates to strengthen oil theft combat

High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited and leader of my core constituency, on Monday 18th, received a delegation of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), in Oporoza Town, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State, to collaborate on sustainable development, stability and long-lasting peace across the Niger Delta.

President of the NBA, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, who led the powerful and historic delegation that marked a pivotal moment in the region’s journey towards sustainable development and peace through security and legal collaboration, met with Tompolo alongside other executive members of the Nigeria Bar Association.

This landmark and transformative meeting was attended by several influential leaders who has been playing pivotal roles in shaping the region’s future through transformative initiatives aimed at addressing the most pressing challenges confronting the Niger Delta and beyond.

Personalities present in the meeting include High Chief (Dr.) Dennis Otuaro, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, whose work in empowering ex-agitators and fostering peace in the region has been instrumental; Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, representing the legislative arm’s commitment to governance and development; and Sir Godfrey Pondi, General Manager of Operations at TANTITA Security Services, a key figure in the ongoing battle against oil theft in the Niger Delta.

Also in attendance was Chief Great Joshua Maciver, State Coordinator, Tantita Security Services Limited (Bayelsa Operations), whose advocacy for the Niger Delta’s rights continues to inspire change, and Chief Komieyefa Uduboh, Chairman and CEO of KFT Conglomerate, whose leadership in business and development is shaping the region’s economic landscape.

Members of the NBA delegation led by the President, Mazi Afam Osigwe (SAN) include Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara II, the NBA General Secretary, Mrs. Bridget Ijeoma Edokwe, the Publicity Secretary, and Miss Ebiere E. Ekpese, the Assistant Publicity Secretary who is a proud daughter of the Niger Delta. Their contributions were crucial in shaping the outcomes of the meeting and strengthening the collective commitment to unity and progress.
