This picture emerged shortly after Senator Dino Melaye was taken away from his hospital bed today.

Melaye was arrested last week after police laid siege on his home in Maitama, Abuja, for eight days. He had turned himself in after hiding in the house for days. Police accuse the senator of being involved in the July 2018 shooting of an officer in his native Kogi State.

We were told he was moved from the Police hospital to the waiting hands of the DSS. How did he end up on the floor?  You don’t abandon your suspect. What have they done to him? Are they leaving him to die?
