Subsidy Removal: Kwara Gov AbdulRazaq adds N10,000 to civil servants salaries monthly

The Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved a cash support of N10,000 for every public sector worker in the state.

The money described as “palliatives” is said to begin this July and last until a new minimum wage is introduced to enable workers cope with the economic shocks created by the subsidy removal.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has also approved 100% Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) for doctors as well as allowances for nurses in the state.
