Away from the tension and the high suspense been encapsulated in the Nigerian polity, there is also an atmosphere for love, tranquility, peace and fat show of affection.
Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has always been on the news for his “loverman” play role with his Law school “lovebird”.
The Duo, Gov. Wike and wife Barr. Suzette Wike have been the best couple so far in the history of Nigerian politics; for their continuous show of public affection for one another. The couple are indeed worthy of emulation from other Nigerian families, politicians and corporate class.
Despite the years of being married, Gov Wike of Rivers state in Nigeria, have never ceased to love his wife and care for his family, irrespective of his busy political schedules. He is indeed a role model to all Nigerian men.
It is in that regard, the writer of this piece have to join in the queue of his awards, nicknames etc, to name the Rivers Governor:
THE MOST ROMANTIC GOVERNOR IN NIGERIA
Over the years, the Rivers Governor (MRGN) have become the Capital of Awards; and was given the title, “Mr. Project” by the vice president from an opposition party.
Some of his awards are included below: The Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) gave the governor the award of ‘Apostle of Peace’. This followed the Authority Newspapers ‘Governor of the Year’ award and Daily Independent Newspapers “Man of the Year” award., The Sun Newspapers “Governor of the Year” award given to Chief Wike was an icing on the cake of the people’s governor. “Silverbird Man of the Year” award 2017, “Daar Governor” 2018, UN Awards, the Sustainable Cities and Human Settlements Awards (SCAHSA) as the “Global Human Settlements Outstanding Contribution Award” in New York; and so many other awards too numerous to mention.
Chief Wike is really the capital of Awards. It is rare in this part of the world to see a leader that is so loved by his people.
Governor Wike has in the last few years of his first term embarked on the massive construction , reconstruction and rehabilitation of roads, schools, hospitals, reclamation of lands, agricultural development and provision of other critical infrastructure across the three senatorial districts of the state .
Revival of the State economy and basic governance structure.
N/B: Nyesom Ezenwo Wike inherited an economy that was on halt by the time he took over as governor on May 29, 2015. All he has done since that day has been to unlock the economic potentials of Rivers State and attract investors back to their once-beloved Garden City. He has deliberately created ‘sugar-policies’ to sweeten the city to the taste of businesses and investors.
