SHOCKING: Delta New COVID-19 Patient Died since on Saturday – Family tell Gov’t

The new COVID-19 case in Delta State is dead, Source told NAIJA LIVE TV

The patient, our correspondent gathered, died before the result of his sample was released on Tuesday.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday confirmed a new case of Coronavirus in the state bringing the total number of cases to seven.

It was gathered that deceased who presented himself at the isolation centre in Warri Central Hospital was asked to go home after NCDC officials collected his sample against the rules.

It was learnt that upon receipt of the result, the State Taskforce on COVID-19 contacted the family of the deceased and they were told the patient had died.

It was gathered that the patient died on Saturday April 25, 2020.
