Rivers State-born musician, entertainment entrepreneur and director of Tubkiks multipurpose company limited, Mr Tubokiki Opubo Briggs popularly known as kikis has reached out to the Rivers State Governor via an open letter which went viral, seeking support or a loan of 100million naira to acquire sophisticated musical equipment for entertainment and event management business in the state.
Mr Kikis Briggs congratulated Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for his unique leadership qualities that have developed the state and created an enabling atmosphere that guarantees stability, and good economic management in the promotion of sustainable growth and development in the state.
He further appreciates the state Governor for his consecutive patronage and encouragement of talented youths across the state, describing Gov. Wike as a man with a golden heart.
Mr Kiki’s who started his music carrier in 2005 acknowledged that the entertainment industry has made a positive impact on his life and the lives of other youths, as he is currently an employer of labour of over 50 youths on his payroll in the state, and also stands out as an exemplary role model and a peace ambassador to the youths of the state.
Mr Kikis highlighted that the entertainment industry in Nigeria has taken an upward swing in the past decade, drawing the attention of the government and the private sector to invest potentially to trigger a major growth in the economy.
Speaking further Mr Kikis Briggs called on all youths and people of Rivers State to
shun all social vices and anti-development tendencies and support the vision of Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike to build a better State that will further create an enabling environment that will
harness the energy and talents of the booming youth population and a chance for every young Rivers State youth to live out their unlimited potential.
Mr Kikis stated that if his appeal for support/loan is considered by the benevolent governor of Rivers State it will not only enable him to acquire better-sophisticated entertainment equipment but will also increase the number of employees in his entertainment firm from fifty youths to over one hundred who in turn will be employers of labour since the entertainment sector is next largest employer of labour in the country after the civil service and the entertainment industry has the potentials to increase the revenue of the state as it correlates with tourism and hospitality.
The Rivers State-born entertainment entrepreneur emphasizes that he is very confident that in due course, the Nigerian State and the entire world will feel the impact of the monumental achievement of Governor Wike’s administration which is already manifesting and will further consolidate the quality of life of the people and youths of Rivers State.
He further pledges allegiance to every single event, project, vision, and mission the governor’s leadership will undertake in the state as this is sure to produce the necessary result needed to move the state to Utopian heights.
