Officers of the Nigeria Police Force, Ogun state command, Eleweran – Abeokuta, yesterday nabbed one Saka Tali for impersonating social media critic, Damilare Oloyede in an article titled “How GNI betrayed his followers and Ogun West”

Tali had sometimes in April shared the post on social media purportedly signed by Oloyede. This drew the ire of the social media influencer.

But in a swift turn of events, Tali claimed the article was originally written by one Prince Damilare Olojede and not Oloyede.

Following that, Oloyede took the matter to the Police force who arrested Tali yesterday.

Reacting, Oloyede said Tali’s arrest would serve as a deterrent to
some unscrupulous elements who enjoy
inciting people’s character on social media in order to score cheap political gains.

He denied insinuations that he was being been sponsored by his boss, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI) to arrest and detain Tali.

Oloyede described the case as a personal one between himself and Tali, noting that it has nothing to do with either of Gboyega Isiaka (GNI) or Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade (AAA); rather, it is to clear his name from the impersonation and to bring to book the culprits that revel in writing half truth as a deterrent to his ilks that still indulge in such acts inimical to brotherhood and harmonious living.
