Ogun set to take rightful position in South west, says Oloyede

With the economic benefits available for Ogun state, as the closest state to Lagos, West Africa’s economic hub, the gateway state according to Coordinator of Gateway Media Organization, Omooba Damilare Oloyede is ready to take the rightful position in South west.

Speaking with selected journalists on the sideline of the official inauguration of the economic transition committee by the State’s Governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR today, at Ogere Remo, Oloyede enthused that with the caliber of people gathered in the committee and work groups by the Governor-elect, Ogun state would be able to comfortably stand tall amongst the comity of states in south west.

“Not a few will agree with me that, these crop of technocrats, professionals in politics and grassroot politicians are a quintessential set who would aid the Governor-elect to put Ogun state on the right path, hence making the state stand tall to take her rightful position in Yorubaland(South west). When Mr. Tunde Lemo, a former deputy governor of CBN leads a team which comprises Prof. Sidi Osho, Mr. Dapo Okubadejo, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka and the likes of Sen. Gbenga Kaka, one should expect nothing less than a turn around economically”, Oloyede submitted.

“Upon inauguration on May 29 there would be adequate and strong synergy between Lagos and Ogun. We can all see that this is a government with vision, so we see Ogun state shining her stars excellently”.

When asked of his optimism in the implementation of policies to be formulated by the committee, Omooba Oloyede assured that Abiodun’s administration would be up to the task as the governor-elect is obviously determined to take Ogun state to the next level.

” I am confident that Prince Dapo Abiodun would implement policies that can enhance the life of the people of Ogun state, he wants to move the State to the next level and he means this to the letters. You can see he even made mention of this in his speech while inaugurating the committee. This is a man that understands that implementation is the advance stage of policy formulation”, Oloyede concluded.
