The Candidate of the APC for the Ogbia Constituency 2 seat in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly elections, Hon. (Chief) Godknows Obein Owerre, has condemned the destruction of electoral materials in some wards.
The APC candidate, in a statement accused the PDP candidate, Hon Gibson Edwin MUNALAYEFA of sponsoring the destruction of sensitive materals in ward 4,5,3 and 2 in the constituency.
Chief Owerre explained that the candidate of the “PDP is afraid to go for a free , fair and credible election, having sensed the massive support he (Owerre) is enjoying from his people.”
Calling on security agencies to ensure the perpetrators face the full wrath of the law, the APC candidate urge his teaming supporters to come out en masse to vote for the APC when INEC schedules new date for the election.
