Micro-Pension Sensitization outreach for AMAC-Abuja: CSO committed to drive advocacy across grass roots

After a robust engagement with informal sector players in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) on the Micro-Pension Plan (MPP), the following were agreed:

• That the Micro – Pension Plan (MPP) is a timely intervention by the National Pension Commission
• That the Micro-Pension Plan has capacity of securing good retirement life and future for artisans, small and medium scale entrepreneurs and eligible members of the civil society and informal sector.

• That there is need for increased awareness and education about the Micro Pension Plan, especially at the grass roots.

• Civil societies and members of the informal sector are therefore invited and encouraged to massively enroll in the Micro-Pension Plan in order to secure their socio-economic future. We commit to drive this advocacy across the grass roots
