Live from the Court of Appeal, Abuja, Venue of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal is Sitting today, the first after the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa officially recused herself from the Panel.

It is expected that at the sitting of today, a replacement for Justice Bulkachuwa will be announced or a total overhaul of the entire panel.

Another major changes today is the relaxed security situation within and around the venue of the court of the appeal.

Unlike in the previous sittings where police and other security agencies, barricaded roads leading to the court, there is free flow of traffic today along the Shehu Shagari way and its environs. However, there are still presence of security agents at the entrance of the appeal court.
