Lagos Assembly lawmakers reject three Sanwo-Olu’s cabinet Commissioners nominees

Lawmakers in the Lagos State House of Assembly have rejected three of the cabinet-nominees submitted to them by the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. 

The three nominees were rejected at a confirmation session held for them by the lawmakers who had earlier screened their nominations. 

The three affected nominees were:   Ajaiye Obembe, Prince Lanre Sanusi and Obafemi George. 

The governor had earlier submitted a total of 38 names as cabinet members to the Assembly in two batches. 

However, 35 other nominees who participated in the process were confirmed by the lawmakers.
