What is the supremacy of the Supreme Court?

Justice Mary Ukaego Odili (née Nzenwa) is a Nigerian judge married to Sir. Dr Peter Odili, who served as Governor of Rivers State from 1999 to 2007. She was appointed an
Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (JSC) by former president Goodluck Jonathan and was administered the oath of office by Chief Justice Katsina-Alu on 23 June 2011.

She helped her husband, who allegedly stole over a N100bn of Rivers state money (excluding unaccounted millions of dollars) to get a perpetual injunction from the courts to stop EFCC and other sisters agencies from arresting him over his criminal activities in March 2007, 2 months before he stepped down as Governor.

13 years down the memory lane, that court order is still subsisting & he has never been arrested and tried since then, while the wife is still serving as a Supreme Court judge, sending other Nigerians & other people’s husbands to jail for crime while at the same time, helping her husband’s political party disqualifying opponents, disenfranchise the larger population, stealing mandates given freely by the electorates to a candidate of their choice & handing them over to loser candidates of her husband’s party.

Is this what the independence of the judiciary is all about?
