JUST IN: INEC boss resumes, promises credible voter register

Professor Mahmoud Yakubu whose tenure for a fresh term of five years as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission commenced on Wednesday sequel to his swearing in ceremony by President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday resumed at the commission.

Addressing the gathering of INEC National Commissioners and journalists on Thursday shortly after Air Vice Marshal Ahmed Muazu (rtd) who assumed the office in acting capacity handed over to him, Professor Yakubu said his first priority in would be to give Nigerians credible voter register.
