Comrade Daniel Sapele has described High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, as God sent to liberate Ijaw nation from political and economic strangulations.
Comrade Daniel Sapele made the statement in warri while reacting to the unfortunate incident that occurred on the 14th of September in Abuloma Rivers state where Ijaw youths unleash mayhem on fellow ijaw youths resulting in several deaths and many others sustaining various degrees of injuries at the venue where the Eastern Zone elections of the Ijaw Youth Conucil (IYC) was billed to take place.
Making reference to the 2020 IYC elections held at Oporoza town, headquarters of Gbaramatu kingdom, Comr. Sapele noted how Tompolo hosted the entire Ijaw Nation when IYC held her national convention that produced Timothy Igbifa’s led National government in a very peaceful atmosphere.
The youth leader said Tompolo has remain a beacon of hope and blessing to the entire ijaw nation as he has demonstrated leadership qualities worthy of emulation, adding that only Tompolo that has the ability of managing the security architecture of the Niger Delta.
Comr. Sapele noted that outside security, Tompolo has used and continued to use his various platforms to empower millions of ijaw youths and has continually preached peace as a panacea of the Niger Delta’s Development.
He conclusively prayed Tompolo and other respected ijaw leaders to intervene and cleanse the IYC of all the anomalies and bring sanity to council.
