Chief Abel Ebifemowei, the APC Standard Bearer for the Bayelsa Central Senatorial bye-election has declared that he will use the office of senator when elected, to attract development to Bayelsa state.
According to Ebifemowei, his constituents in Yenagoa, Southern Ijaw and Kolokuma/Opokuma local Government areas of the State will continue to benefit from his lifestyle of generosity and humility even as a senator.
Chief Abel Ebifemowei, who made this known while addressing stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) on the forthcoming October 31 senatorial bye-election at the Central Senatorial district, said the senatorial district needs an extrovert, somebody who can lobby federal parastatals to build bridges, roads, empowerment programmes with the sole purpose of bringing development to the State.
He told party faithful that “I am the Candidate of the APC in the forthcoming Bayelsa Central Senatorial bye-election. And of course, I know with myself in the Senate House, there will be a lot to do for my people in Bayelsa State in general. I will do my best, and that best will be good enough for our people. Let me tell you all something, any day that i change from my humble and freewill lifestyle and return back for your vote, don’t give it to me.”
“I will always match down to any federal parastatal to secure a genuine support for my people. Two days ago, I and my entourage went to Biseni. I have seen and noticed what our people there are passing through. But in all, I have a lasting solution for them once i emerge as the Senator representing them at the Red Chamber. I will make life more comfortable for them if the opportunity is given to me to serve them diligently and transparently with the best of my abilities.”
He also called on the electorate in the Central senatorial district to cast their votes for him and the APC, insisting that immediately after his inauguration into the Senate House on November, “i will partner with his electorates to make sure things start working in Bayelsa Central Senatorial District and the State at large”
