The Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area in Delta state, Amb. Aduge Okorodudu has reportedly been kidnapped by unknown gunmen, NAIJA LIVE TV can confirm.
The report says the Council Boss was taken away at gun point while returning from the state congress of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), which held in Asaba, the Delta state capital on Saturday August 8.
Sources say he was kidnapped at about 7pm on Saturday at the Nanna College area of Warri, near Police “A’ Division and Area Command of Warri .
The hoodlums had opened fire on the driver of Hon Okorodudu, riddling his legs with bullets before whisking the victim away to an unknown destination.
The driver has since been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, security operatives in the state have been alerted about the ugly development.
