A group known as the Innovative Leaders of Brass (ILOB), has extolled a renowned youth leader and philanthropist from Brass Local Government Area, Robert Desmond for assisting small-scale business owners in Twon Brass.
It would be recalled that Desmond made an unscheduled visit to some roadside businesses popularly called “Bole” joints on Tuesday, dishing out cash gifts and words of encouragement to the traders.
ILOB commended Desmond for encouraging industry and dignity of labour amongst the people of Twon Brass and Brass LGA as a whole.
The group also poured encomiums on D New face as Desmond is popularly called for donating computers to public schools and recently buying JAMB forms to indigent applicants from the area.
In a statement signed by its Founder who doubles as the Coordinator, Simon N. Ebiye and the Spokesman, Comr. Ayebaekiprete Spiff, the group maintained that Desmond has over the years proven to be a selfless, compassionate and progressive youth leader that takes delight in meeting the needs of the masses.
The group further charged Desmond to continue with his selfless contributions to humanity and prayed God to bless and catapult him to greater heights in order to make more impact in society.
ILOB equally tasked other well-meaning sons and daughters of Brass LGA to encourage industrious and innovative youths in the area, saying that it is the only way Brass can produce more productive citizens that will compete favourably with their contemporaries from other climes.
