A socio-cultural group in Bayelsa state, has called on the leader of the Izon-Tukpa Movement and the Coordinator of Tantita Security Service Limited (Bayelsa Operation), Great Joshua Maciver, to contest the 2023 Bayelsa state Governorship elections due to his visible track records.

The group under the aegis of ‘Izon-Tukpa Sisters of Ikebiri Kingdom’ in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa state, made the call on Thursday, in Yenagoa, while on appreciation visit to the Izon-Tukpa Family for a successful celebration of the ancient Dirimobou Festival 2023 in Ikebiri Kingdom.

The Director General of the group, Ebilatei Onitsha, while appreciating the Leader of Izon-Tukpa for a successful hosting and celebration of the 2023 Edition of Dirimobou Festival, recounted the people-oriented and purpose-driven achievements of Great Joshua Maciver.

This include the area of regular payment of Sixty-Five Thousand Naira (N65,000) stipends to his followers from the inception of the Presidential Amnesty Program for Niger Delta Ex-agitators without any itches.

Also, regular Payment of monthly stipends to hundreds of elderly Women in Ikebiri, Olugbobiri, Ikeinghabiri and Korokorosei Communities in Olodiama Clan.

Others include; Using Tantita to empower thousands of Youths in Bayelsa, thereby, curbing youth restiveness in Bayelsa State, Scholarship to thousands of Niger Delta Youths to various universities in Nigeria, Payment of WAEC Fees to Students of Olodiama Comprehensive High School, Ikebiri 1, among others.
