YENAGOA – The Bayelsa State All Progressives Congress, APC 2023 Governorship running mate, Great Joshua Maciver has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for signing the South-South Development Commission (SSDC) Bill into law.
In a personal statement obtained by Naija LiveTV, Great Joshua MacIver stated that, the decision of President Tinubu has brought joy to the people of the South-South region, marking a significant step towards equitable regional development. Maciver however praised President Tinubu’s commitment to fairness and justice, saying his decision has cemented his place in history as a champion of the people.
Maciver who is the coordinator of Tantita Security Services (Bayelsa Operations), also thanked the President of the Nigerian Senate, Chief Godswill Akpabio, and the distinguished members of the National Assembly for their roles in realizing this decision.
“Mr. President, this singular action of yours has sealed your place in the annals of history of the long-suffering peoples of the South-South region of Nigeria, as a champion of fairness and justice, as well as a man of your words,”
“I want to also thank the President of the Nigerian Senate Senator Godswill Akpabio, as well as the distinguished members of the National Assembly for the selfless roles in ensuring the passage of the bill into law”, Maciver said.
